The Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery was officially opened by The Premier of Queensland The Honourable Peter Beattie MLA on the 4 th of November 2000. The property consists of 24.5 acres located on magnificent Tamborine Mountain approximately 550 metres above sea level, and as its name suggests, Cedar Creek flows through the property. Its reaches are currently being rejuvenated to ensure the lasting protection of the platypus that make Cedar Creek their home.

The property has been developed as a boutique winery with a vineyard capacity of 10, 000 vines with the aim of the vineyard to be totally organic. The Cedar Creek Estate vineyard and Winery also acts as a satellite cellar door for some of Queensland's oldest and leading Granite Belt Wines. The property offers restaurant and reception facilities with the option of dining inside in either the Hamblin Room or Annexe or outdoors either in the Gazebo, the Verandah or on the Pier overlooking Wild Duck Lake and the environmental park. Patrons can visit the Heritage Tasting Room or Cellar Door Bar and, by arrangement, taste premium reds in the underground cellar bar. For wedding receptions or business functions, "The Barn", nestled next to the vineyard, offers a wonderful atmosphere catering for up to 150 guests.
