Overview

The Islander has been reborn as THE ISLAND. The hotel changed hands in 2015, and has been under construction for almost 12 months to transform into a spectacular dining, accommodation, and entertainment offering. The designers have captured the essence of Surfers Paradise’s history, combining the old with the new throughout the hotel. The Island is more than a boutique hotel – it is an entertainment destination with bars, restaurants, a VIP gaming room, kid’s playroom and the only rooftop bar in Surfers Paradise offering both beach and city views.

The Island is located 25 minutes north from Coolangatta airport and 60 minutes south from Brisbane airport.
